HIGH PERFORMANCE COACHING

Coaching is an investment in you, your goals and your future with running and cycling. You do no need to be an elite athlete to need a coach; I coach beginners right up to elite level runners and cyclists and in my eyes you will be an athlete. I've never had an athlete fail to cross that marathon finish line or be so obliterated by cycling that they don't even want to think about cranking the pedals again.

 

In an era where we'll happily spend over £250 on one pair of trainers, or £2500 on a disc wheel, but not invest in the actual training we need to be doing in order to maximize the 2% improvement on your 5km time of those trainers or aerodynamic benefit of that disc wheel, 1-1 coaching is going to provide a much better return on investment at way less of the cost.

 

Similarly if your relationship with running and cycling has been compromised due to injury, physio appointments, massages, etc will help you to get back on track, but once you've complete a course of 6 or so sessions and never move past the banded or bodyweight exercises that initially prescribed during your rehab, you're pretty much going to end up back at square one especially once your running/cycling volume and intensity increases. 

 

The following High Performance coaching packages have been designed with you at the heart of it all to really help you train smarter, get fitter and faster whilst reducing your risk of injury.

Each coaching package includes:

✔ Onboarding coaching call and follow up:

This is where we craft your training plan around you and your goals. We get into the nitty-gritty of your availability to train, your currently work and lifestyle schedule and commitments, your training experience and your previous injury history.

​

✔ Regular coaching check-ins and communication:

Each week I will personally analyze your training and look at how you are responding to the stimulus. We will have back and forth conversations to see how you are feeling with the training stimulus itself as the data does not capture the whole picture.

 

Every 4-6 weeks we will have a coaching check-in which is your opportunity to ask questions about your plan, us to reflect on what has gone well and what areas we need to address moving forwards.

✔ Flexibility and no decision-fatigue:

Upcoming holiday? Unexpected sickness? Called late at work? 

All of these things happen and a generic static plan leaves you in the ambiguous position questioning: "What do I do?"... "Which workout should I not miss?" ... "How do I get back on track after being poorly?"

 

I am on stand-by to make sure the unexpected does not derail your training plan. This really is the key to your success.

✔ 2-3x weekly strength sessions with feedback:

Each plan comes with 2-3x weekly strength sessions designed to improve your endurance performance and reduce your risk of injury. These strength plans are dynamic and individualized to you and your muscular imbalances, we very much have open conversations about the exercises and how you are responding to them. I also recommend you record videos of yourself completing exercises for me to provide feedback on your technique and movement mastery. Your strength workouts will progress throughout your season to prime your endurance performance with a focus on speed, power and robustness.

 

✔ Beginner-advanced coaching:

I have worked with a vast range of runners, cyclists and multisport athletes in my coaching experience. Regardless of your starting point, our High Performance Coaching is guaranteed to help you reach your goals as it has done for so many individuals like you.

✔ Workouts made for you:

As your fitness grows, your workouts need to adapt. We work to a range of metrics which are tailored to you and your training zones. Ensuring we are on top of this ever-changing dynamic helps ensure your training is eliciting the best response from the work you are putting in.

✔ Your coach on your wrist:

Each workout is tailored to your personal zones and if you're not in those zones, your training device will make aware of it! It's like having me, your coach, on your wrist reminding you where you need to be and keeping you on track.

 

✔ Workouts sent directly to your training device:

Each workout is sent directly to your compatible training device, eg. Garmin/Polar/Apple/Coros etc.

​✔ Lifetime access to the plan:

An ever-dynamic plan which you can revisit to support your training journey.

The £65 onboarding coaching fee is removed when you pay 3 months upfront.

Injury is the most common reason endurance athletes leave the sport. This is often because of an overreaching training plan that increases volume and intensity week on week, combined with with little to no strength and conditioning work. You're asking your body to do too much with too little and this is a recipe for injury. This coaching package ensures you don't fall into a similar trap.​

HIGH PERFORMANCE: STRENGTH

Strength and conditioning training programme designed to improve your running, cycling or multisport training performance.

Develop speed, power, endurance and help to reduce your risk of injury with a smartly designed S&C programme that fits alongside your run/bike training.

Sessions tailored around your season and upcoming races/sportives.

HIGH PERFORMANCE: PREMIUM

The premium coaching package takes you as an athlete and looks at the whole picture of your training and lifestyle.

Your performance running, cycling or multisport training plan and bespoke strength and conditioning programme will be further supported by a nutrition advice and macronutrient plan which will maximise the gains from your training. Whether that is body composition changes with fat loss, the nutrition needed to gain lean muscle mass whilst not losing weight to what your body needs to fuel your training and skyrocket your performance.

*3 month minimum commitment on any coaching programme with the option to upgrade/downgrade your package at any time.
